Australia - New South Wales

Montag 14.04. - Sonntag 20.04.
Die „Blue Mountains“( blaue Berge). Brathurst, Kotoomba. Richtung Sydney (120 km). So langsam geraten wir in den Großstadtsog. Es wird bereits dunkel. -  

Geschafft. Pennant-Hill ist unsere Basis für Sydney. Ein Taxi bringt uns zur Parramatta-Station. Hier fährt alle paar Minuten ein Zug in die City. Von dort geht es zu Fuß weiter. China Park, Delphin Haus, Harbor-Bridge und Ferry Station. Mit dem Schnellboot eine Hafenrundfahrt. Tolle Ausblicke auf  Sydney. Zurück zum Platz. 

Wir verlassen Sydney auf dem Pacific Highway, der kaum befahren ist. Bis Port Stevens, nach Hawks-Nest, direkt am Meer. Dünen, weißer feiner Sandstrand, einsam. Vor der Küste kleine felsige Inseln. Das Wasser ist warm. Baden und Sonnen. - Der nächste Stop ist Byron Bay. Hinauf zum Light-House (Leuchtturm). Dort ist der östlichste Zipfel Australiens. Toller Ausblick. Unser nächstes Ziel ist „Kingscliff“. Ein wahnsinniges Gewitter nachts. Weiter nach Brisbane.

Glass House Mountains. Herrlich diese riesigen Berge und ein schöner Blick bei inzwischen auch besserem Wetter. (Sunshine-Coast).

Noosa: Der Strand, super, Segelregatten, Einkaufsparadies, kleine nette Cafes - Fehlanzeige. Es regnet wie aus Eimern. Hervey-Bay, Zielort für die Überfahrt nach Fraser-Island.

Monday 14.04. -- Sunday 20.04.

The "Blue Mountains" (blue mountains). Brathurst, Kotoomba. Direction Sydney (120 km). We so slowly get into the city undertow. It already gets dark. -  

Made. Pennant-Hill is our base for Sydney. A cab takes us to the Parramatta station. A train goes to the city center here all couple of minutes. It walks further from there. China park, dolphin house, Harbor bridge and Ferry station. With the speedboat a boat-trip round the harbor. Terrific views of Sydney. Back to the place. 

We leave Sydney on the Pacific highway which is hardly driven. To port of Steven after Hawks nest directly by the sea. Dunes, white fine sandy beach, lonesome. In front of the coast's little rocky islands. The water is warm. Swimming and suns. The next stop is Byron Bay. Up to the Light House (lighthouse). There is the easternmost corner of Australia. Terrific view. Our next aim is "Kingscliff". An insane thunderstorm at night. Far to Brisbane. 

Glass House Mountains. Marvelous these gigantic mountains and a beautiful look in meanwhile also better weather. (Sunshine-Coast).

Noosa: The beach, super, sailing regattas, purchase paradise, little nice cafés, no! It rains like from buckets. Hervey-Bay, final destination for the passage to Fraser-Island.
